Pamukkale's Cotton Castle & Ancient Hierapolis: UNESCO Day Tour

Antalya was a beautiful jumping off place for Pamukkale and Hierapolis. I didn't swim in the spring water of Pamukkale but the silica formed pools are a unique sight. The adjoining ruins of Hierapolis are historically stunning.

Hierapolis has amazing Roman ruins. The amphitheater was pretty incredible. There is still much to excavate. The pools of Pamukkale are also uniquely beautiful. Our driver and guide Baran were terrific. On time and knowing when to stop on our 3 hr drive from Antalya. August is just a very hot time of year to visit, but glad we didn’t miss it.

Pamukkale was a magical place l’ve ever been l love it and we have a great time with my friends. And the travel’s company which is the ucan travel’s workers are so kind and smiley:)) And also guide’s are great too. I will definitely come back soon

In the itinerary and overview it says that cleopatras pools is part of it. I found out the day of that they are not but if I cancel last minute I dont get my money back.

Pamukkale is unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before. The scenery is picturesque and you almost can’t believe what you’re experiencing. The pools are busy, yes, but our tour guide Baran did a good job at structuring the day so that by the time we got to the pools that it was when other tour groups were typically doing lunch. That helped make it feel slightly less busy. And Hierapolis is a sight to behold. Being able to walk around the ruins at your own pace allows you to get what you want out of the day. If you’re looking for a tour guide to walk with you ever step of the way and explain what you are seeing or experiencing, this probably isn’t the tour for you. We did receive some explanation prior to going into Pamukkale/Hierapolis, but other than that you are left to make the visit what you want. I personally didn’t love the visit to the jewelry/rock shop. While they didn’t necessarily feel pushy, the place did feel a bit seedy and didn’t seem to fit in with the rest of the day. I’m not sure why it was included.

Merve gave us a great tour and made the experience a very good one. She is very knowledgeable and depicted Türkiye as the jem it is!

The guide was friendly and the car was clean snd spacious. The schedule gave us enough time to look around Hierapolis and Pamukkale. Really enjoyed the freedom! The guide gave us enough explanation and it was great. The only downside was the shuttle was late 30 min for pick up and the driver's driving back to the city was quite rushed and a bit too fast. One of our group member felt car sick so she sat in the front with a plastic bag.. But nonetheless, I recommend this tour!
